This sculpture "order 1" was recently completed. Modeled after the print Order 1, the pieces were cut from corten steel, a steel prized by sculptors because of its ability to develop a beautiful red rust color, at which point the oxidization process is halted, preserving the steel. The sculpture will be on display at my upcoming shows.
